This is an incredible temporary course that we are lucky enough to play once a year. At the end of the golf season we take over the Wallace River Golf club and create a top notch disc golf facility for the Flickline tour Championship. In 2020 this was an 18 hole gem, in 2021 we bumped it up to 20. Starting in 2022 this course will be the new home of the Chowder Cup, the interprovincial team championship that sees the 4 Atlantic Provinces compete against each other.
Although each year some holes are different a little better than half the holes will stay the same. The course features at least 2 'signature' holes. The dogleg hole 7 that forces a hyzer off the tee and leaves players with a decision on how best to carry the OB on their second shot. Originally this was a par 4 but was lengthened and bumped up to a par 5 in 2021. The finishing hole is now up there with most unique Flickline holes ever. A tough but fair par 4 that leaves players with multiple options to get to the pin and features either a hazard, tree tunnel, or wide fairway will come to decide many of the events that will be played here.
The goal is to have this course open for public play during the third week of November every year. When that happens do yourself a favour and make the trip
